Summary:
As Christians, we know that living godly lives of righteousness is the only way we will earn a place in Heaven, but, if we do not guard our hearts against the ways of the world and remain diligent to God, we are in danger of falling astray. Solomon tells us that there are people who live for wickedness, people who cannot rest easily until they have lured Christians away from the Lord, and while this may sound frightening, there is nothing to fear—as long as we keep our eyes focused on God, gain the knowledge of his Word, and obey it, our footing will remain firm, we will never stumble or fall.
