Summary:
We are first introduced to Solomon, the son of King David, who begins to give instructions to those who wish to live a Godly life. Along with how we can do this (by studying the Word of God in order to gain knowledge and wisdom), Solomon also shows us who we should avoid: those whose goal is to pull us further from the Lord and drag us deeper into the world. Studying the Word of God gives us the wisdom of discernment and the power to choose right from wrong.
